AMBASSADORS

Social Impact Movement Ambassadors are passionate community leaders focused on one specific Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), equipped with curated knowledge and advocacy skills to inform and influence stakeholders, policymakers, and decision-making leaders. They are community leaders, activists, and social entrepreneurs who facilitate salon-style conversations, provide educational workshops, organize community events and support the design of projects related to their specific SDGs. Their participation in the SDG Ambassador Program is volunteer-based and relies on Social Impact Movement’s expertise and resources to carry out activities and projects. Ambassadors can self-apply or be referred. 

OUR GOAL

Is to leverage private and public connections to have more people actively contributing to the growth of the SDGs.

The Ambassadors are passionate, community leaders specializing in one of the Global Goals.

They are equipped with curated knowledge and advocacy skills to inform and influence stakeholders, policy-makers, and decision-making leaders.

The Ambassadors facilitate salon-style conversations, provide educational workshops, organize community events, and support the design of projects related to the SDGs.

Their work is volunteer-based and relies on Social Impact Movement’s expertise and resources to carry out activities and projects.

Scarlett Arana

SIM SDG 14 Ambassador

LIFE BELOW WATER

Scarlett is a social innovator and entrepreneur with specialized experience in Geospatial Technology such as GIS, LIDAR, Remote Sensing, and Drone surveying.

Scarlett has worked as a research contractor for NOAA and is also a Divemaster passionate about solutions restoration and preservation of Life Below Water – SDG 14. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from FIU and a Master Degree in Geographical Information Sciences from University of Florida.
